Massage has been known for centuries! The type taught at Healing Hands, School of Natural Therapies is termed “Swedish Massage”, which was pioneered by a Swede called Peter Henry Ling. He developed a range of manipulations, which are applied with the hands to the soft tissues of the body. Swedish Massage is often termed “classical massage” as most other forms of massage have their roots in this system. The massage taught at Healing Hands, School of Natural Therapies embraces the traditional Swedish system & also integrates a more Holistic approach.
