Thai Herbal Compress Massage

Introduction:
This course is designed for the already qualified therapist wishing to update their continual professional development.
Thai Herbal Compress Massage uses ground fresh or dried herbs wrapped in a muslin cloth, and then steamed to release the potent qualities of the herbs. These hot herbal compresses, known as prakhop, are then systematically pressed over the body. Once the tools of traditional Thai healers, the compresses are praised for their holistic approach treating the mind body & spirit as one & improving the body’s capability of self healing.
The combination of traditional Thai compresses in conjunction with massage creates a powerful body purifying & detoxifying treatment to offer to your clients
Upon successful completion of this course, graduates will be able to seek work in private practice, sports clubs, health spas, GP Practices & specialist clinics such as osteopathic & physiotherapy.
There is a pre-requisite requirement of body massage for this course.
