Introduction:

This course is designed for students who wish to achieve their professionally recognised qualification quickly. It will be delivered intensively & will require much dedication & substantial home study.

Waxing is without a doubt, one of the most viable & popular beauty treatments that a large majority of clients seek on a regular basis.

This qualification will enable candidates to provide a professional, high quality waxing service to the public.

The course, is suitable for the complete novice, or, already qualified therapist wishing to update their continual professional development.

This individual unit can be added to as students work towards the VTCT – IHBC Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques.

There is a pre-requisite requirement of units VR02/74 to this qualification, which can be completed simultaneously.

Practical Input:

• Correct Procedures & Techniques of Working With a Range of Hot & Warm Waxes on the following areas:

-         Underarm

Students are required to complete case study treatments in addition to theory tasks, practical & theory assessments

All students are to wear professional salon work wear for class attendance & assessments.

Course cost:

The cost of the course is £275.00 plus £50.00 Assessment Fees

This includes full private tuition, certification fees & also all working materials whilst at Healing Hands School of Natural Therapies

A non-refundable deposit of £175.00 is required to secure your place.

Students will also need to purchase a waxing kit in order to complete case study requirements & reach a professional standard ready for assessments.

Candidates have the option to purchase kits from the centre (these need to be ordered in advance,) Full payment of kits, if required, to be paid on reserving your placement on the course

An additional cost of £70.00 will be required for candidates completing units VR02/ VR74 alongside this course

A lifetime registration fee of £15.00 will be required for students not previously registered with VTCT

Course Certification & Insurance:

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive the VTCT – IHBC Level 2 Certificate in Depilation.

You will be able to apply for full Professional & Public Indemnity Insurance to enable you to start working in Professional Practice straight away.
